Today, the venue unveiled a rebranded cocktail bar called ABV in the space formerly occupied by their speakeasy style bar. With the new chef and the new bar comes a new menu concept, switching the restaurant’s focus from “upscale comfort food with a Southern flair to an approachable culinary tour of the world’s wine regions,” according to City Winery’s official press release.

CL chatted with executive chef Cherry to get the inside scoop on where he’s been and where he’s going next.

I grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
