There’s nothing like a slice of soft, sweet oatmeal bread to make into a good morning cinnamon toast or a late night Dagwood sandwich. This bread may be eaten warm, but best slicing texture is obtained by letting the bread cool for at least an hour before slicing, ideally letting it cool completely.

hello! yes, to activate yeast your water should hover between 80-115 degrees. Banana bread with baking powder instead of baking soda Any warmer and it will kill it. Banana bread made with almond flour I am not sure how straight oat flour will work in this recipe, but if using it, you’ll definitely need 1 tsp of xanthan gum per cup of flour, is my guess. Thank you, Naomi! Though it didn’t rise because I didn’t use warm water, it actually turned out with good flavor! I used half quick cooked oats, and then the leftover soaked steel cut oats that I used to make oat milk earlier that day.
