I messed up baking the pie crust 4 times before this one, and messed up my pie dough (before even getting to the baking stage) like 2 more times. I don’t think it would work the same as the filling has to kind of mold into that shape– if you push it in it will look smushed. I put some yellow food coloring in a bowl with those microwavable white chocolate wafers and melted them until smooth.
