Slow Cooker Indian Butter Chicken

It’s a butter chicken recipe geared to be kinda simple and not have all the crazy spices usually needed for Indian dishes.

The naan I was lazy and didn’t want to deal with the yeast and rising of the dough so I went with this recipe:

Make sure to use cast iron for the naan that’s how you get the real dark and burned spots that make naan good.

Most Indian/Pakistani spice mixes are similar. If you want to make a simple rice just rinse and soak some basmati rice for half an hour. for a regular home meal i can admit its weird (making rice and roti is just waste of time/effort) , but for literally every single party/special occaison where the food is catered, the rice and naan go on the same plate as the curry.
