Having grown up in Indonesia, I was always surrounded by amazing herbs and spices, as well as ‘witch doctor’-like tonics, tinctures and potions to help you ease a sore stomach, boost immunity or cure the common cold. This elixir, known in Indonesia as ‘Jamu’ is made traditionally from turmeric, ginger, black pepper, lime, honey and water. NOTE: This recipe can get very yellow and stain nearly everything in your kitchen! If you want, wear disposable gloves and be prepared for your utensils/food processor/pot to be stained yellow… Cinnamon roll pancake recipe with cream cheese glaze at least for a few weeks.

• Place turmeric, ginger, honey & pepper in food processor or NutriBullet with one cup of water and blend until pulverised

• Allow to cool before straining through a fine sieve into a clean bottle of your choice

These cookies are not only vegan but they are paleo too – quick and easy to make, and the perfect lunch box addition or compliment to a cup of afternoon tea.

Feel free to play around with flavours – you could add raw cacao powder to make them more chocolate flavour or swap the orange for lemon.

1 tbsp Belacan (shrimp paste – you should be able to buy this from a gourmet grocery store or you local Asian grocery store. Cinnamon roll glaze recipe without powdered sugar Feel free to exclude it if vegan)

400g packet brown rice noodles (or any other noodle of your choice)

Vegetables of your choice – I use broccoli, cauliflower, and potato (all cut into small cubes)

• Soak chilli and shrimp paste in a small bowl covered with about 1/2 cup boiling water and let to sit for 10 minutes

• Meanwhile, place tofu or tempeh on lined baking tray – drizzle with melted coconut oil, tamari and sesame seeds and bake for 15 minutes or until starts to brown and turn crispy

• Using a small food processor or NutriBullet, combine soaked chilli/shrimp paste plus the water with remaining paste ingredients and pulse until thick and smooth

• Heat coconut oil in large pot and add your paste – cook over medium heat for 5 minutes until fragrant

• Add coconut cream and stock and bring to boil – season with salt and pepper to taste

• Add your vegetables and cook until tender – meanwhile soak brown rice noodles in boiling water according to packet instructions

• To assemble, place noodles in bowls and pour in the soup and vegetables. Cinnamon roll bread recipe without yeast Top with mung bean sprouts, tofu cubes, fresh mint and coriander and a wedge of lemon

• Combine almond meal, coconut, nuts, cinnamon, oil, salt and sugar/honey in a bowl and mix well

• Line baking tray with baking paper and evenly spread out crumble mixture

• Bake for 10 – 15 minutes or until crumble mixture starts to brown and coconut becomes crisp

• Meanwhile place apples, berries, cinnamon and water in a pot and bring to the boil – reduce to simmer and cook until apples are soft and water has nearly all been evaporated

• To serve, layer a tablespoon of crumble mix, followed by a couple of tablespoons of apple mixture and finally, top with more crumble, coconut yoghurt and a fresh berry. Cinnamon swirl bread recipe no yeast Enjoy!

** Note this can also be served in one big tray if desired with apple mixture on the bottom, crumble on top and dollops of coconut yoghurt throughout **

Super easy to make, and full of all the beneficial gut bacteria our internal eco-system just loves! Adding fermented foods to your daily diet can do wonders in boosting your immune system, aiding effective digestion, and improving your detoxification process.

• Peel one good whole leaf away from cabbage and keep it separate for later

• Using a sharp knife, finely shred the rest of the cabbage and place in large mixing bowl

• Sprinkle with sea salt and start kneading the cabbage with your hands – this process is going to take you a good 15 minutes or so, so be patient. • Once your cabbage is soft and wilted and you can see a pool of liquid at the bottom of your bowl, add the mustard and caraway seeds and mix through

• Sterilise a glass jar with boiling hot water and pile your cabbage in, pushing down firmly with your fingers so there are no air pockets

• Finally, cover your cabbage with the leaf you had set aside so it forms a sort of ‘lid’

• Place a heavy weight on top of the cabbage leaf so that it keeps everything down – you could use a sterilised rock, a small plastic container filled with dried beans or rice, a sterilised paper weight etc.

• Screw the lid on your jar and set aside in your pantry for 2 weeks to ferment

• When its ready, remove weight and top layer leaf and put in fridge – your sauerkraut is now ready to use!

Note: you can add any herbs or spices that you like to your sauerkraut mix – try fresh ginger, garlic, caraway seeds, fennel seeds, peppercorns etc.

Selection of whatever greens are in season – for this recipe I used Brussel sprouts, broccolini and kale. Easy cinnamon roll dough recipe You could add broad beans, peas, asparagus… Cinnamon roll recipe without yeast or butter the list goes on.

I used salmon in my pasta but you could use tuna, prawns, chicken, or even tofu.

• Assemble your dish by combining some raw spinach in with the pasta, and adding your sauteed greens, and protein.

These are the two recipes I created to work in conjunction with the beautiful cold pressed juices I tried from Pure Glow Cleanse.

My mum used to make similar ones when we were at school and the best thing about them is that they keep really well in the fridge, so also make a fabulous midday snack or lunchbox addition if you’re taking your food to school or work.

Please don’t freak out that they are made with potatoes – so many people I know associate potatoes as a ‘bad food’ – perhaps because they think of french fries or creamy potato salad.
