OSG has been producing its show at the donald E. Stephens convention center in rosemont for the past few years with questionable success for various reasons. The public always seemed to have a problem with the high cost of parking at rosemont and the incredibly long hike from the parking lot to the expo hall through the steamy “gerbil tunnel” connecting the two points.

The rosemont show also was plagued by the success of the big show at the schaumburg convention center. Schaumburg booked its first show a couple of years ago on the same weekend of the rosemont show. OSG made a dramatic change by moving its show to march.Admission ticket now the schedule is clear, and it is quite easy for area outdoorsmen to attend the new show at arlington.

The chicago sports show’s move to march has made it possible for it to attract many new exhibitors to the show floor. OSG now is running the incredibly popular milwaukee show, too, and it is able to bring many of the legions of wisconsin exhibitors to arlington.

OSG is promising a full floor of exhibitors that will excite the people who attend the show. In addition to the entire first floor of the racetrack pavilion being filled with exhibitors, it also is hosting many boat dealers and RV dealers in a huge heated tent right next to the track.

The chicago sports show has some unique features, including “lake chicago,” a 100,000-gallon pool that will be the site of seminars and watercraft demonstrations.Admission ticket
